EMILY DUKE
I'm a graphic designer based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.
As a type A creator and right-brain thinker, I love to translate strategic vision and goals into accessible designs. Put simply: I take quantitative data and long-form copy, and transform them into intentional layouts and impactful graphics.
With over 10 years of freelance, contract, and agency experience, I am adaptable and organized. I love collaborating with clients who prioritize making a positive impact in their communities.
RANDOM FUN TIDBITS
01
I am a serial hobbyist. Even though I spend my day creating, I can't get enough. I love to learn about other art mediums and techniques. My most recent hobbies include crochet, cross stitch, and sewing.
02
I am a classical musician. I started playing the piano at age 5 and the violin at age 7. I've performed with community and professional ensembles, as a soloist in a concert hall, and in intimate weddings and special events. I currently enjoy playing with a local orchestra.
03
I am a cozy homebody. While I have been known to emerge in society on occasion, there's nothing that quite beats sitting under a fuzzy blanket with ambient lighting, a good book, and a homemade latte.
04
I am usually covered in fur. My home is a menagerie with two young kids, a goofy black lab, and three cats, and a rotating door of fosters and boarders. One time, we had a mama cat and her seven beans (all named after carrots) with us!
