A community resource that works together to inspire hope and relieve economic burdens in south Dallas so their kids can live in a stronger, healthier community.
Project
Youth World opened its doors in the highest juvenile crime, lowest-family income area of Dallas. Their programs are truly pillars in the community, making sure the kids of south Dallas always have a place to call home. For elementary-aged kids, the after-school Kids Club provides mentorship, life skills, tutoring, hot meals, and groceries, to name a few. The Teen Night program is centered around building up teen leaders through sports, mentoring, hot meals, games, and friendship. Through additional monthly and holiday events, Youth World provides a safe place for families in need of somewhere to feel valued and loved. This is where life change begins, hope is planted and, excitement is abundant.
To inspire a call to action for community partners and sponsors, Youth World wanted several print pieces designed and printed. I laid out their copy and photos in a simple, compelling way, and used colored blocks and tables to highlight the key pieces of information.
